What do you mean by the Navy SSR examination?

• The Navy SSR exam is generally conducted in the month of March and the forms are available online in the month of December.
• To be eligible for the examination, the candidate has to be aged between 17 years to 20 years.
• He has to be a citizen of India or the subject of Bhutan or Nepal.
• Unmarried males are only allowed to sit for the examination.
• The candidates must have qualified higher secondary with at least mathematics and physics.
• The examination starts with a written examination. Those who get selected in this examination are called for a physical fitness test followed by a medical examination.
• The written examination consists of four parts; science, English, mathematics, and general knowledge. Candidates can also opt for the paper in Hindi except for the English language section.
• The total time duration of the written examination is 1 hour.
• The candidates are required to qualify in each of the subjects.
